Any good guides on using photoshop?

Being a self-taught designer all I can say is that you have to become a sponge and suck up as more material you can get on the internet.
There are way too many tutorials on YouTube nowadays compared to 2009 when I started.
Also I recommend checking out designer masterclasses online, visit designer blogs, getting all the materials you need (like brushes, layer styles and etc). The hardest point is developing a proper vision of art and developing your style. But as of now, just stick to tutorials and tons of practice. One day you will get to a point when you'll just start constantly experimenting and improving. Hope this helps. Good luck!

There are many sites from which you can learn photoshop. Some of the best sites are Adobe TV, Photoshop Cafe, Tuts+, Lynda, Umedy, PHIearn and Sleeklens.

PHlearn also have a youtube channel for photoshop tutorials and I think it's one of the best in Youtube.
